This is the first coat I made, before finding all these awesome tutorials and things:

I was going to call it 'Tranquility" you can see I tried some shading, didn't work! lol!

Hooray! You get a bonus! I had forgotten about this one. I had just found this website and was trying out shadowing techniques. I stopped because I didn't like the purple outline.

just about anything that has an airbrush tool will work...

Wow. You're only 12? o.O May I say that when my horses started to look like horses I was 16? That means you have a lot of talent!!!! =D I actually love the first one a lot!!! x3 And the "Golden Gallop" really is pretty too ^_^

I think that the two last, which you've posted on... another post xD... are extremelly beautiful, especially the "fairy" one.

As for critics... Hm, in some places the ink comes out of the lines, so you should clean it... =D And... Maybe you can try to add a darker color instead of making only the highlights. Try to see if it looks good. =) Otherwise you can go back to this technique. It's a very advanced shading technique for your age, I think!!!! x3
