Gimp coat tutorial

i don't really have a coat tutorial cause i do it mostly by feel and i don't know how to post pictures in here but to view my artwork on the gimp check RobbinLara's Forums


i will try my details on here without pics

well first of all....pick your base...(check some free websites or make your own....also available on Ow's and RobbinLara's forums) take three colors of the same shade...like gray lighter gray and darker gray.......

paint them down and try to make them realistic as possible (try googling the shine and shades ) smudge them......do the same for everything else until you like it and i just smudge the hair also there is a tutorial in Robbin's forums

First Step (only):

choose three colors (example above) and a base of course (this one is from RobbinLara)

Next step (Second):

now lay down the colors as best you could filling in the whole body check google the colors you want your horse to be and look and copy out the shines and color as best you coould....i only did the top part as i do not have enough time now
