My Coats

Here's a selection of the new line of coats I'm working on... I'd love to know which (if any) you think might be worth using a black pearl on next time it's available.

Thanks! I'll admit I wasn't sure of the reception they'd get since some of them still look a bit too plastic-like. I use pics of my little cousin's Breyer horse collection (other toy horses as well but Breyers work best) and then use Paint.net to soften and recolour them until they look less plastic and more artistic. I still run into problems on some of the darker horses as it is hard to completely eliminate the reflection of the camera's flash (the shiny highlights) without making it look too flat. Like I said before, I'm not an artist, just a computer geek!

Not to be mean or anthything, but since howrse says you have to enter you own artwork, wouldn't those get disqualified for not being your own artwork, since they are basicaly photos? I know to me, they still look way to much like photos of the origanals. Is their anyway you could change coats around, or maybe rearange their poses? I know it takes time, but that would be do-able. Or maybe in photoshop if you layered over them. I do think you have a very nice idea, though.

Several coats have been rejected, well, not until howrse realized that that person didn't create it. It was called "copyright issues" or something like that.

Those are exact photos from breyer. They will no be accepted. Simple as that.
