Hi! this is a question about Howrse.com

Hi I am not very new to howrse and I know a lot about it. But obviously not enough! haha! Something happened to me today and I don't quite not why. I hope that someone could help me about it, or if it happened to them maybe they could tell me why. I put a couple of my horses in the private sales. And I used it in all caps lock. But I didnt realize that it was in caps until after I had put it up for sale. I did notice it was in caps after I had posted it. But I didnt do anything about it because I didnt think it was forbidden, Because to my knowledge it says no where that you cannot do that. Well a couple minutes after that, I had noticed that my money had rappidly gone down. About five hundred equis to be exact. And then I went to my private to where my horses were for sale. And instead of my description it said... "Yelling wont make my horses sell faster" I was very suprised in this and did not know what to do. I was hoping that one of you guys could help me! P.S. other people put it in caps all the time and they dont do anything about theirs only mine!

What I would do is contact the moderators about it and ask them what exactly happened. They should always have to offer an explanation for their behavior to you upon request - that's just good practice.

Honestly, I have never heard of that myself. Nor did I know that you could not put the description in caps, as I have seen it done many times without and apparent consequences. To me, it almost seems childish that this would happen to you simply because you used caps. Sure, they can be used to signify yelling, but obviously when I use caps I am using them to emphasize something important. I know a lot of people my age and up who use caps this way.

That i boggus no offence to horse but people can put a hundred and one stupid crying faces on there and not get in trouble there is no reason for that!! hope you et it straigtened out!!

Thanks for your advice guys! I contacted the moderators and they said it was just a bug. They did'nt offer to get my money back, but I'll eventually get it back. I just know that from now on I definately will not use caps!

Well I'm glad that they cleared up the reason - though it would have been nice and appropriate if they gave your money back.. After all if it was a bug, the site workers are responsible for it - it's not good PR to not compensate people their losses

It hasent exactually cleared up entirely. Everytime I go to a different page on Howrse, I either loose or gain money. It's pretty weird. I wont let it bother me though. As long as I have enough moeny to take care of my horses I'll be fine!
