I m sorry for my English Embarassed

In black ==> photoshop
In red ==> photofiltre

Corrugated Hairs

1.
Open your base (not need for image^^)
Idem^^

2. Made your pallet of
colors for the hairs (5 colors for me)
Idem

[photofiltre and photoshop] Corrugated hairs Crins1gc1

3. Then, Put your colors
- I puts a basic color on all the hairs
- Then, I
makes feature with a color sunk, then clearer and so on, which gives
that
too Idem

4.
I pass the finger 3 pixels, intensity 81% and hardness 80% (finally you
can make as you feel it for the intensity and hardness).
From top to
bottom while always following the direction of the hairs.

*Take the precise finger with a pressure of 4 bars on the left (40%)

One will pass then to the undulation.

5. One takes the tools density
and - and one makes horizontal feature on the mane (I use dodge
with hardness 100 and exposure 33, idem for the "Dodge" tool -)

* not having the
tools density and - on photofiltre, you must thus choose two color, a
bed and clear, and make the features with these two colors there

Good me here, I do not have do many features, but if you want an
undulation finer, it is enough to make features finer and to make some
more

For photofiltre, that gives that the features

[photofiltre and photoshop] Corrugated hairs Ondulerz5

6. I then pass still the finger, but here, finger 1 pixel, intensity
65% and hardness with 70% (made a large zoom for good to pass it)

[color:e218=Red:e218]* take the precise finger, with a pressure from one to two bars on
the left (10% or 20%). The result will not be as fine as on photoshop,
but it is already not bad^^

And veiled the result

Then, you can play with the density and - on all the hairs

With dodge -

Craquotte, if you'd like some advice with your english in this tutorial, i'd be glad to help you out. It's very good already (Much better then my french I must say!) but some things are difficult for some people to make out.

Keithurban:
5. One takes the tools density
and - and one makes horizontal feature on the mane (I use density
with hardness 100 and exposure 33, idem for density -)

If you are in photoshop,when she says the density, I think she is talking about the "Dodge" tool. (It looks sortof like a pin) If you need an interpretation of the tutorial, send me a message at gallopinghooves on howrse. (I believe my banner has the link)

Very good tutorial by the way! I think I will be using this one... Now... For a shading tutorial. . .?
