Question about graphic art... not sure where to put it...

Hi!
I was hoping you could all help with this, I've wanted to know how to do it for ages.
Where you kind of cut an image of a horse or something, and put it on another background? Like where you request banners and stuff, you say this background and this horse, then they mould the two together.
I was wondering if anyone could possibly PM me the instructions on howrse or post them here, I would be very grateful! =D

you can do that with photofiltre, with the tool "lasso". Than you copy your selection and put it on your background

I can't find oiut how to put them on a background though? Is it just copy and paste, cause when I do that it comes with a white background.

You just drag your selection onto the background picture.

try saving it as a .gif file!
