I am stuck . . .

I really want to create a coat for the black pearl, but I have a few problems:
1. I cant get the horse to look all muscled and stuff.
2. I don't know what to do.
3. I have read all the tutorials, but they don't make sense.
4. I have Photoshop Elements, which is just the basics of it.[b]

I usually come across those problems alot. Im afraid i can't really help all that much, but i collect Breyer horses, so when i want to see the outline, and different muscles and all, i look at one of my horses that's in the position, or close to the position im drawing. You should study a picture of a horse that's in the same position your trying to draw and try to copy it. It's kind of hard to do it if it's your first time though. Maybe someone can explain the tutorials more, b/c i haven't made any. They make sense to me, but it's hard to explain b/c i didn't create them, and i don't know which specific one you want to know about. I don't have a program at the moment, so that's really all i can help with. Sorry i couldn't help a lot! Maybe someone else can shed some more light on the subjects that i can't!

Thats really great advice DarkDiamond! I personally like to look at a picture of a real horse and draw it,then mimic its coloring.. etc. But I'm usually to lazy to actually draw it then I just find a base and a real horse that is standing similar to it.
